Game drives at Blaauwbosch private game reserve are led by professional rangers. The rangers have extensive big five game knowledge, which means you are likely to view lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, antelope, abundant birdlife and rare flora on our game drives. This is a birdwatchers paradise and binoculars are trained to spot rare specimens amongst the abundant birdlife. The latest exciting project for the reserve is the introduction of cheetah. Visitors to the private game reserve are also treated to one of Blaauwbosch's specialties - an African wildlife "walk and stalk" safari. This exciting safari involves the shadowing of the fastest of all land hunters, the cheetah, as it stalks its prey.

The colours of the Blaauwbosch lodge are earthy and muted, with the polished floors scattered with richly colored carpets. The cool, spacious interior offers a perfect sanctuary against the scorching African sun.

The bush is all around you and while you may intend to read for an hour or so there will be distractions. The private game lodge is surrounded by bush where birds and animals appear unexpectedly. You are a spectator of their daily sport.

CHILDREN:
Children under the age of 12 years are welcome by PRIOR arrangement with the owner of Blaauwbosch
Families with children can book sole use of a game drive vehicle at a cost of R 1000,00 per day.

ACTIVITIES:
Morning and evening game drives & bush walks
Cheetah walk and stalk – tracking cheetah on foot with experienced guides.
Day excursion to nearby attractions including – Addo Elephant Park.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
50% deposit on confirmation of booking and full prepayment 30 days prior to arrival.
For bookings made less than 30 days prior to arrival, full payment is required on confirmation

CANCELLATION:
Cancellations must be in writing and must be more than 4 weeks prior to arrival in order to receive a full refund, less 10% handling fee.
Less than 7 days forfeit the full accommodation cost. From 7 – 14 days forfeit 75% of accommodation cost.
From 14 – 21 days forfeit 50% of accommodation cost From 21 – 30 days forfeit 25% of accommodation cost
