Froggy Pond
This is a relaxed dive, ideal for the novice or out-of-practice diver. It is quite a shallow dive and the rocks are covered in red, green and brown seaweed. There are a number of small fish flitting about and cuttlefish and octopuses have been spotted there.

This spot is very sheltered and is usually flat and clear.

Average depth: 5m

 Maximum depth: 7m

How to get there:
Froggy Pond is in a little bay 5km from Simons Town on the road to Cape Point. (Just before the A Frame) Park on the opposite side of the road and kit up there or on the lawn in front of the beach. It is an extremely easy entry and exit from the little beach to the right of the rocky cluster jutting into the sea. Enter and swim to the left and around this cluster where you can descend and start exploring
