Fordoun combines the attractions of an upmarket boutique hotel and spa with a top class conference, wedding and event destination and a superior restaurant. Fordoun caters for resident guests of the hotel as well as day visitors to the spa and, from Thursdays to Sunday lunch, to members of the public wishing to dine at the restaurant Skye.

Fordoun Spa boasts a team of expert personal trainers, masseurs, nutritionists and beauticians, and features internationally proven healthcare and beauty treatments, including the rasul (a Turkish steam and clay treatment room), a saline Floatation pool, heated swimming pool, a gymnasium, sauna, steam room, vichy shower, hydrotherapy room and a couples' treatment suite with hydrotherapy bath.

Fordoun is located 5 minutes off the N3, which is the main road between Johannesberg and Durban. Nottingham Road is the closest town, which is 5 minutes away.

DIRECTIONS:
From Durban/Pietermaritzburg:

• Take N3 from Pietermaritzberg heading towards Johannesburg.
• Take the Nottingham Road Turn-Off, which is about 15km before Mooi River Toll Gate.
• At stop street, turn right and head towards Nottingham Road for about 3km and the hotel is on the right hand side.
• A large sign on a wall reads "Fordoun Hotel/Spa/Restaurant". Follow drive for 400 meters to hotel reception.

CHILDRENS POLICY
• Subject to availability of suitable accommodation and maximum 2 children sharing a bedroom with 2 adults – where bedrooms cannot accommodate children sharing with adults, 2 rooms need to be booked in which case the single rate would apply to each room
• Kids over 12yrs, are considered adults

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
• Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival
• We have the right to request deposits or full payment in advance in the case of large groups, long stays, peak periods or high occupancy
• Cancellation Charges
• 03 – 01 days prior to arrival, a 65% cancellation fee will be charged
• No shows will be charged 80% of the full value of the accommodation booked
• In the event of a refund, a 10% administration fee will be retained for cancellations received after the card has been charged.

AVAILABILITY AND PRICING DURING MAJOR EVENTS
During major events, conferences or sporting events (periods where demand for accommodation is high), we may not be in position to offer the rates as advertised on this website but we will offer our clients the best available rate possible.
