Lodges 1, 2 and 5 are thatch and stone with luxurious en-suite bathrooms and outside showers.
Lodges 3 and 4 are linked by an entrance hall and are ideal for families with small children.
The Lodge is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay and can accommodate up to 10 guests.

The lounge, library, dining area and deck overlook the open plains and the boma plays host to intimate dinners.

Enjoy views of the constantly changing vista of passing wildlife around the Lodge. Witness Lion and Elephant or herds of Wildebeest and Antelope coming to drink at the Lodge water hole.
Relax and soak up the African sun whilst lounging at the pool.
Watch the prolific variety of birdlife from the Lodge. Binoculars and a telescope are available for your use.
The Lodge library provides a relaxing sanctuary for quiet contemplation. There is a range of books and DVD's of the animals, birdlife and vegetation of the Waterberg for you to enjoy.

The tariffs are quoted in South African Rand on a per person per night basis.
ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE TIMES: Guests will be fetched from the Welgevonden Game Reserve South gate between 14h00 and 14h30 in Summer and 13h00 and 13h30 in Winter, unless a special arrangement has been made and agreed to. These times are important and need to be adhered to as closely as possible.
Guests will be returned to the South gate between 10h00 and 11h00 on their day of departure.

The quoted tariffs include:
Full board, 2 game drives per day, use of facilities at the Lodge
Beers, soft drinks and house wines
Transfers on the reserve from and to the South gate or internal airstrips
VAT at 14%
Welgevonden gate and conservation levy

CHILDREN’S RATES:
Under 2 years - No charge if sharing with two full paying adults.
2 – 11 years - half rate (50%) if sharing with two full paying adults.
12 years and older - Full rate.

Pitse Lodge reserves the right NOT to allow young children for safety reasons.
Pitse Lodge reserves the right NOT to allow children under 5 on game drives.
Pitse Lodge reserves the right NOT to allow any intoxicated person, or person who is impaired, or a person who is deemed to be of potential danger to himself or herself or others on a game drive or walk for any reason whatsoever.

TERMS OF PAYMENT:
50% deposit within 7 days of invoice issued to secure the booking. Payment in full is required 40 days prior to arrival.
Reservations made less than 40 days prior to arrival, full payment is required within 48 hours to secure a booking.

Our Cancellation Policy is as follows:
Cancelled +46 days prior to arrival: 20% of the full accommodation charge
Cancelled +30 days but -45 days prior to arrival: 50% of the full accommodation charge
Cancelled -30 days prior to arrival: 100% of the full accommodation charge

REFUNDS AND UNUSED SERVICES:
No refunds will be made for no-shows, or any unused services.
