NEWSFLASH!: The Protea Hotel Imperial ,with it’s untimely beauty and charm, is being refurbished from 8 February – 31 May 2010. All 70 bedrooms and 6 conference rooms are being completely renovated. The bedrooms will have new furniture, carpets, curtains and the en-suite bathrooms are also being completely redone. The hotel will still be open as usual, as not all of the rooms are being renovated at once. The changes will give the Protea Hotel Imperial a brand new feel and more modern appeal, without losing it’s traditional charm.
