Access is daily via Maputo to Pemba by Moçambique Airlines (LAM) with connections to Johannesburg and Lisbon. With immediate effect LAM (Moçambique Airlines) have 5 flights a week from Dar es Salaam to Pemba.

Charter flights operate from South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe direct into Pemba. Immigration clearance is available at Pemba airport and visa's can be issued on arrival.

Transfer to Quilálea is by a scenic two hour drive to Quissanga from Pemba in comfortable 4x4's is, all at standard transfer costs of $45 each way p/person.

A 15 minute flight to Quirimba island's private field (S12.25'54 E040.36'30) and then a short 10 minute boat trip is also available at standard charter costs of $430 for 6 passengers. (A helipad is available on Quilálea)
