Waterfront Village, situated on the water’s edge in the picturesque V&A Waterfront Marina, next to the Cape Grace Hotel and One&Only, offers guests luxury serviced apartments offering superior services and facilities. Guests are spoilt for choice with our selection of one to three bedroom apartments, providing a wide selection of accommodation that will suit their individual requirements. 

Guests will enjoy access to our on-site reception, swimming pools and gym. An abundance of shops and restaurants are available within walking distance. Crafted around tranquil waterways the inspired architecture maximises the panoramic views, creating international desirability.

Situated within the world famous V&A Waterfront, guests staying at the Waterfront Village can reach an abundance of shops and restaurants on foot. Loved by locals and tourists alike for its unique beauty as a working harbour, complemented by qualities such as designer clothing stores, expansive views and harbour edge dining, the V&A Waterfront is Africa’s most visited tourist destination. Reception

Waterfront Village features a 24 hour reception, located on the premises with friendly and professional staff who offer our guests the following services - meet on arrival, assist with check-in, booking tours, airport transfers and car hire. The reception is equipped with two computers and is a wifi hotspot exclusively for our guests.

CHILD POLICY / THIRD ADULT SHARING

• Children of all ages welcome.

• One child under the age of 3 years may share in the apartment in a cot, at the additional per child sharing rate, per night.

• All children from the age of 3 years must occupy their own bed.

• Should the maximum number of guests exceed the apartment configuration upon arrival, additional accommodation will be reserved and charged.

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES

• The rate is inclusive of a daily refresh service and a full housekeeping service after every 4th night of occupation (includes linen and towel change).

Peak Rates are applicable to the below rate periods and any other special events that may occur:

• Rates are quoted per apartment per night in South African Rand and are inclusive of Value Added Tax at 14%.

• The above rates are on a room only basis.

• Reservations are subject to terms and conditions at the time of making the booking and upon check-in.

• Terms and Conditions for Peak periods or special events may vary.

A 3-night minimum length of stay applies during Peak periods noted above.

• Village & Life reserves the right to move reservations between units of a similar classification, should the need arise.

• Village & Life reserves the right to alter or amend rates and rate periods at any time.

• Rates are based on the following configurations:

Hotel Facilities

Swimming Pools

Guests have access to five swimming pools.

The first pool is located between the Bannockburn and Carradale blocks. Private and secluded with sun loungers and 3 water features cascading into the pool, the Carradale pool is a study in tranquility.

The second swimming pool is located at the entrance of the Ellesmere and Faulconie blocks. Bordering the waters of the canal, the smaller pool is adjacent to the Canal.

The third swimming pool is located on the 3rd level between the Juliette C and Kylemore A blocks, boasting breathtaking views of Table Mountain and Signal Hill.

The fourth swimming pool is located on the 3rd level between the Kylemore C and Lawhill blocks. Overlooking the One & Only Resort and island with villas.

The fifth swimming pool is a heated lap pool located on the roof of the Quaterdeck gym, with spectacular views of the marina yacht basin. Please note that a fee is applicable for the use of this swimming pool.

Gym

The Quarterdeck gym is centrally located. The facilities in the Quarterdeck gym include, state-of-the-art gym equipment including 2 tread mills, bicycles, rowing machines and more. There can’t be a better way to exercise than sitting on the rowing machine on the terrace, facing the splendid beauty of the marina.

The lap pool above the gym is a favourite with guests and is beautifully located, offering stunning views of the marina. Personal gym instructors are available by appointment and our concierge will gladly make this booking for you.

The gym is open from 06h00 to 20h00 seven days a week including public holidays. A gym access fee is payable at the reception, which will allow guests access to the gym as well as the heated lap pool above the gym.

Internet

Our reception has been set up with a complimentary wireless internet service. We also have two computers that our guests can make use of.

Internet speed is adequate for downloading e-mails, internet banking and social networking (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, blogging, etc.)

Slow internet speeds may occur when downloading multi-media files or using Skype.

We strive to provide our guests with a quality service, however by international standard, the internet in South Africa is unfortunately not as fast.

Guests are offered the facility of underground parking and all apartments have at least one parking bay allocated to them.

Beach Club membership

Sandy B is the private beach club of The Bay Hotel. Overlooking the popular Camps Bay Beach, it provides an incomparable vantage point from which to enjoy the magnificent sunset.

Spa @ The Bay Hotel

The Bay Hotel spa features 3 specialised treatment rooms, including a wet room, couples massage room, facial and manicure room and an aesthetic medicine room.

In-room massages are available by arrangement as well as a "Bath Delight" package, entailing a massage and preparing your bath to create a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Treatments range from water therapy to various massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, tints and waxing.

Spa @ Camps Bay Retreat

Camps Bay Retreat is tucked away in the crook of a wind-free glen running between Lions Head and Table Mountain. The estate comprises four acres of private land with waterfalls, mountain streams, pools, a private tennis court, sauna, fitness centre and nature trails.

Security

Our state of the art security system is a major feature. The Waterfront Village is one of the most secure places to stay at, with full perimeter security and CCTV, access control at two main security entrances and video monitoring of entrances from your own apartment. Every apartment is fitted with an electronic safe for private use and the canal is also monitored by Harbour Police in a rubber duck boat.

Control Room

Waterfront Village is part of the Village n Life Group who offers all guests access to the 24 hour Village n Life control room. The control has direct access to the senior management of Village n Life, Embassy or Consulate offices, and other essential and emergency contacts. Contact number: +27 (0)21 430 4100

 

Guesta Amenities

On arrival all guests are pampered by a luxury range of guest amenities, for your convenience we supply all the basic toiletries and necessities for the first night of stay. Our collection of Hermoza products compliments our wonderfully furnished and equipped apartments.

Housekeeping

Monday to Saturday between 09h00 and 16h00. The department offers guests a daily general cleaning of the apartment and every fifth day a full service will be done which consists of thorough cleaning of both the inside and the balconies of the apartment as well as a linen and towel change. On Sundays and Public holidays, housekeeping can be arranged on request at an extra charge.

Laundry Services

We offer a laundry service from Monday to Saturday at an additional cost. All laundry received at the front desk by 08h30 will be returned to the guests by 17h00. This service includes:

Washing Ironing Dry cleaning Suede and leather cleaning Treatment and cleaning of all delicate fabrics
