General Terms And Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as, by paying the deposit, you acknowledge that you have read these terms and conditions and that you understand and agree to them. You will be bound by these terms and conditions on 180* Adventures confirming you booking directly or through your agent. 180* Adventures CC is the registered trading name of Object Lesson Projects CC Reg. No 2000/040500/23 incorporated in South Africa. The contract including all matters arising from it is subject to South African Law and South African courts.

Payment

The balance of the experience cost is due 30 days before the commencement of the experience. Where booking and receipt of deposit is received less that 30 days before departure date the full amount is to be paid at the time of booking. If we do not receive the deposit by the due date 180* CC reserves the right to cancel the experience and retain your deposit.

Cancellations of experiences

If you cancel the experience the following cancellation fees will apply:
1. More than 45 days prior to departure – Loss of Deposit
2. Between 30 and 45 days prior to departure – 50% of booking fee
3. Less than 30 days prior to departure – 100% of booking fee
Other cancellation fees (subject to your date of cancellation )will also be applicable: these include air tickets issued by or on behalf of 180* Adventures and will be determined by the Airline Tariff Regulations and may vary as to the type of ticket issued
If we cancel: All our experiences are based on certain minimum numbers have not been reached we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the departure of the experience. We will offer you alternative options but should you not accept these then we will refund you all monies paid to180* Adventures but we will not be liable for any claims made by you or for any additional cost incurred by you as a result of our cancellation.

Amendments to your Itinerary

We might from time to time make amendments (sequence and or specific routes to the itineraries as published in our brochures or on our website. These changes will only occur due to local or other conditions including weather, road conditions, flight changes, transport arrangements, availability of accommodation or other circumstances.
Where these amendments are significant nature we will, where practical, advise you and/or agent of such changes before you depart.
No responsibility is accepted by 180* Adventures for any delays as a result of the above-mentioned conditions.

Inherent danger associated with our experieces

Because of the nature and terrain of the activities you will be exposed to while on any of our experiences you will be exposed to various inherently dangerous factors. You accept that these activities require a good level of fitness as they might be physically demanding. You also accept that you might be traveling through areas that might be subject to amongst unfavorable political, physical, health and/ or climatic conditions. You accept these dangers and unfavorable conditions.

Indemnity

The Company accepts that its employees will be engaged in inherently risky activities. Although all possible safety precautions will be taken by 180* Adventures CC, the Company agrees that it indemnifies 180* Adventures CC, its members, principals, staff employees( both full and part time ), guides and agents to the fullest extent permitted by law against all liabilities, losses, claims, demands and reasonable expenses including but not limited to, attorney’s fees and expenses brought against 180* Adventures CC, its directors, principals, staff and employees by any party or person whatsoever, other than the Company, in connection with or arising out of the activities provided by 180* Adventures CC.
In the event that persons who are not directors, principals, members of staff or employees ( both full and part time ) of 180* Adventures CC but who are engaged by 180* adventures CC to participate in the provision of activities or to provide additional services, 180 Adventures CC shall not assume responsibility for, nor shall be liable in respect of any acts or omissions ( including negligence and gross negligence) by any such persons, regardless of whether such person where introduced by 180* Adventures CC.,

Insurances

Comprehensive travel insurance must be purchased by you when you pay your deposit. Should you require any assistance in this regard please contact 180* Adventures or your agent.
