The Cape Cadogan is a stately double-storeyed Georgian and Victorian building that dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. It was originally a farmhouse which was ‘Victorianised’ in 1912 and declared a national monument in 1984.
This boutique hotel is well known for its comfortable, luxurious atmosphere. Our reception areas are individually decorated and designed for comfort and tranquillity. It is themed on the Irish literary figure Oscar Wilde who was renowned for his bohemian lifestyle throughout Europe and New York during the latter part of the 19th century.
Our public areas comprise a comfortable lounge with an open fireplace, a garden and pool area, and a library where you can relax and read or research your itinerary from the computer terminal provided for your convenience.
Hotel
Contemporary chic is our hallmark, with 12 luxuriously appointed en suite bedrooms that are decorated with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furniture using dramatic fabrics to maximum effect.
Villa
The Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel has as its presidential suite the Owners Villa. The space is decorated in a similar style to the main Hotel with fabrics and textures forming a rich woven carpet were the classic old world style of Cape Town meets the new beautiful café society.The Villa is a private space which has recently been opened to select guests and friends of the Owner. The space includes an open plan lounge, dining area and full service modern kitchen. These spaces open up with wide double framed doors onto an outdoor deck area where comfortable lounges lie around the private plunge pool. Privacy is a thread flowing through the Villa experience; the kitchen is serviced by a private hatch which provides a link to the outside world and where one’s morning breakfast and paper gets delivered. The Villa’s bedroom suite is upstairs with an open plan bathroom perfect for those guests who are looking for comfort and simple lines.The Villa has full wireless connectivity and audio visual facilities which covers both the suite and living spaces.
SINGLE ROOM POLICY
An allocation of rooms/suites is kept for single travellers where a supplement will not apply. These rooms/suites are subject to availability.
A supplement of 50% of the adult rate will be applied if the single rooms/suites are not available.
Single supplements will not be waivered when a booking involves one of the MORE Experiences.
TRIPLE ROOMS & INTERCONNECTING ROOMS
3rd person sharing will be restricted to children under the age of 16.

We regret that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 10 years.

31 - 60 days prior to arrival 25% cancellation fee on the value of the booking
0 - 30 days prior to arrival 100% cancellation fee on the value of the booking
DEPOSIT POLICY
Upon confirmation 50% deposit is due to secure the reservation, of which 10% is non-refundable

The Cape Cadogan breakfast room is a good place to start the day. Good coffee, fresh pastries and breads, and a selection of hot breakfast options will not disappoint.

A continental buffet and á la carte hot breakfast is served daily from 7:00 - 10:30 am. Let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions or preferences. We're happy to oblige.

- The rate for this transfer is:
1 -3 guests is ZAR 1060 per vehicle (One Way)
