Conditions of Residence at Dithõlõ Game Lodge
The Guest, by signing the registration card, warrants that he is duly authorised to sign and bind his principal to these conditions of residence and failing such authority, agrees to be personally liable for all amounts arising from the residence of himself and his accompanying party (as set out on the front thereof) at the Lodge.
The Guest and/or his principal agrees to pay not later than the time of departure (unless prior written arrangements have been made with the Lodge Management), the room rate, as determined by the Lodgefor the period of residence together with the costs of food, beverages and all other amounts arising from the residencyat the Lodge and sales tax (if applicable), incurredby the Guest and his accompanying party during his/their stay in the Lodge. Periodic payments must be made if the account exceeds the credit limit designated by the Lodge and accounts are payable on presentation.
A certiﬁcate from the Lodge Manager shall constitute prima facie proof of indebtedness of the guest and/or his principal and the particulars therein, and that same is due and payable at the date of signature of such certiﬁcate, the production of which shall discharge any onus of proof, which may rest on the Lodge to prove any fact certiﬁed therein. Such certiﬁcate shall serve as a liquid document in any competent court for the purposes of obtaining provisional sentence or Summary Judgement or otherwise.
The Guest hereby agrees on behalf of himself, his principal and the members of his accompanying party (which he warrants that be is duly authorised thereto), that it is a condition of his/their residency at the Lodge that the Lodge shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury to any person or property brought into the Lodge, whether arising from ﬁre, theft or by any other cause whatsoever caused or arising from the negligence (gross or otherwise) or wrongful act of any person in the employment of the Lodge and he/they hereby indemnify and hold the Lodge harmless against any claim that he/they may have against the Lodge howsoever caused and howsoever arising.
Where appropriate, the masculine shall include the feminine gender and vice versa and the singular shall include the plural.
The guest and/or his principal consents to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court having jurisdiction over the guest in respect of any proceedings in connection with the stay of the guest and his accompanying party at the Lodge. Notwithstanding the aforegoing, the Lodge shall have the right of instituting all or any proceedings connected with such stay in the Lodge in the relevant division in the High Court of South Africa.
Please read the emergency procedures notice on the back of your room door/Guest Service Directory and place your valuables in the room safe. Your Registration Card identiﬁes you as a resident of the Lodge and should be carried with you at all times for your own protection as well as when collecting your room key.This card must be produced when charging anything to your guest account and will be valid until 10:00 am on the day of your departure. Should you lose this card, please contact reception immediately.

In respect of accommodation it is agreed that children under the 12 years will stay free of charge if the room is shared with two full paying adults, subject to the availability of family rooms at the hotel. This concession will only be applicable for a maximum of 2 (two) children. The children will be charged for their meals

The main restaurant offers an inviting dining experience - offering wholesome lunches, superb breakfast spreads and a sumptuous A La Carte dinner menu. Above the dining area is the comfortable Lounge Library, where guests often settle in and read a good book.
The Lakeside Bar is a popular meeting place, complete with a relaxing four sided log fireplace and a comforting lounge providing pre-dinner drinks or an after dinner nightcap.
Catch up over a glass of wine on the viewing deck overlooking the two lakes and surrounding plains. Enjoy the hippo’s lazing around in the lake while taking in incredible sunsets.
Guests can be treated to a day Game Drive or a Night Drive. Ditholo is home to many animals and bird species such as: Giraffe, Buffalo, Sable, Zebra, Warthog, Blesbuck, Bushbuck, Ostrich, Kudu, Duiker, Fish Eagle, Malikite Kingfisher, Lilac Breasted Roller, Red Hartebeest, Nyala, Brown Hyena, Eland, Gemsbok, Steenbok, Blue Wildebeest, Impala, Waterbuck and our resident Hippos.

Ditholo is an intimate place that specializes in personalised service. We have a beautiful tea garden surrounded by gorgeous trees that create the perfect ceremony location. The conference venue at Dithõlõ Lodge Private Game Reserve is an ideal setting for conferences/corporate meetings and team building sessions.
We outsource a company that specialises in team building and related exercises. They are a team of experts who challenge teams to mitigate negatives and build on positive performances.
The suites offer luxury accommodations for 14 Standard rooms and 4 Family suites. The individual chalets offer the highest standard of comfort and complete privacy.
Our Twin Suites feature 2 separate beds. The room features: en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar (stocked on request), free wi-fi Internet, and TV with DSTV.
